HOW THE iCLT SYSTEM WORKS

iCLT represents a new generation of CLT panels – a building system that combines the precision of CNC machines with the ecological purity of wood. Unlike traditional CLT panels, the layers of wood are not joined with glue, but mechanically – with a precise grid of screws. This creates a completely natural, tailor-made structure that is ideal for passive and sustainable buildings.
SYSTEM PRINCIPLE
CONNECTED BY SCREWS, NOT GLUE
Each iCLT panel consists of several layers of wood laid crosswise. The screws are placed according to a precise grid, which guarantees high static strength, dimensional stability, and maximum precision. Thanks to the absence of adhesives, the system is 100% natural and emission-free – suitable for a healthy indoor environment and demanding passive projects.
CUSTOM MANUFACTURING
EACH PANEL IS MADE EXACTLY ACCORDING TO THE PROJECT
Unlike CLT panels, which are manufactured in standard sizes and then machined, iCLT panels are made to measure. This eliminates cut-offs and leaves only excess material for machining, resulting in up to 30% less waste. Each panel is manufactured according to the specific shape of the wall, including openings for windows and electrical installations.

AIR TIGHTNESS
AND ENERGY EFFICIENCY
The built-in vapour barrier membrane in iclt f panels ensures airtightness throughout the entire structure.
Each panel can include a diffusion-open paper membrane that guarantees the stability of the internal environment. In addition, the edges of the panels are sealed with airtight tape, which ensures a perfect connection during installation. iCLT thus meets the most stringent standards for low-energy and passive buildings.
MANUFACTURING
TECHNOLOGY
Digital precision from the first cut.
A laser projects the shape of the panel onto the work table. The boards are stacked in a cross orientation and screwed together by a CNC machine according to a grid. This is followed by machining to the final dimensions and creating holes for installation. Finally, the panel is taped with airtight tape and is ready for installation.
FIRE AND STATIC
PROPERTIES
A safe and reliable solution for every type of building.
The basic three-layer version has a fire resistance rating of REI30, while the four-layer version achieves a rating of REI60. In the event of a fire, the screws prevent charred layers from falling off and increase the stability of the structure. In terms of statics, iCLT panels are comparable to CLT.

AND SUSTAINABILITY
Sustainable technology without compromise.
iCLT panels are made of high-quality wood and hold the European ETA certificate. No adhesives or chemical binders are used – they do not emit formaldehyde and are completely recyclable. Waste minimization and local production make iCLT a technology with a minimal ecological footprint.
